FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about plans, AI credits, payment, and your lesson plans.
Getting Started
What is GuroMake?
GuroMake helps Filipino teachers write daily lesson plans, keep them on a weekly board for each class, and make quizzes and presentations from them. AI drafting is there when you want it, and everything works without it too.
Is it free to use?
Yes. Every account starts on the Free plan, with lesson plans, lesson boards, preview and print, and 100 AI credits to try. No payment is needed to sign up.
Which lesson plan formats can I use?
ILAW is the main format. You can also use the Generic detailed, 4As, 5Es and 7Es, and IPLAN formats. MATATAG is the curriculum, not a format: any format can follow it. In My Templates, you can set the expected output for each section so it carries into all your plans on that format.
AI Credits
What are AI credits?
AI credits are used each time AI drafts or rewrites part of your work. 100 credits are enough to draft about two lesson plans in full. You can always write a section yourself without using credits.
Do my credits expire?
Free credits and top-up credits never expire. Credits from a monthly plan refresh with each paid month, and unused monthly credits don’t carry over.
What happens when I run out of credits?
You can keep writing lesson plans by hand. For more AI help, buy a top-up from the Billing page or choose a monthly plan.
Plans and Payment
What do paid plans include?
Paid plans add monthly AI credits and features such as quizzes, presentations designed in Canva, Word Document downloads, sharing, and backups. Each plan lists what it includes on the Pricing page.
How do I pay?
Pay through GCash or Maya by scanning the QR code on the payment page. Then enter the reference number or attach your receipt and click I Have Paid.
How soon does my plan start?
An administrator checks your payment in the GCash or Maya account first. Your month begins once the payment is approved. If the payment can’t be confirmed, you’ll see the reason on your Billing page.
Lesson Plans, Quizzes, and Presentations
Can I upload my Budget of Work?
Yes. Download the Budget of Work template, fill in each day’s learning competency, topic, and activities, then upload it. You get one lesson plan for each day you filled in.
Can I share lesson plans with co-teachers?
On a paid plan with sharing, you can create a read-only link anyone can open, or share a lesson plan with a co-teacher’s account. You can turn off a link or remove a co-teacher at any time.
Can I download a lesson plan as a Word Document?
Preview and print are free on every plan. Downloading as a Word Document is part of the paid plans.
Can I make a quiz from my lesson plan?
Yes, on paid plans that include Quizzes. Make a quiz from a topic, up to five of your lesson plans, or the learning competencies in them with Bloom’s Taxonomy. Choose the kinds of questions, such as Multiple Choice, True or False, and Essay. AI writes the questions, and you can edit any of them. The quiz prints with an answer key, and with a Table of Specifications when you use Bloom’s Taxonomy.
Can I make a PowerPoint presentation?
Yes, on paid plans that include Presentations. Make slides from a topic or up to five of your lesson plans. AI writes the outline for you to review, then Canva designs the slides in your own Canva account. You can present them in GuroMake or download them as PowerPoint. Connect your Canva account first in Settings → Integrations.
